Kontrol Edge

Network-as-a-Service Platform

Stand up a new, differentiated enterprise-services network on top of the core you already own. Kontrol Edge stands up a standards-based SRv6 underlay across the optical transport you already run — from just a pair of SRv6 routers at each of your PoPs — giving you a new network layer to operate and monetize, with deep, native visibility built in. All under your own brand.

The Model

A New Enterprise Network,
On the Core You Already Own

Kontrol Edge lets any operator stand up a fresh, differentiated enterprise-services network on top of the optical base they already run — without replacing it. You provide only the foundation of your backbone: the fiber and EPL transport you already maintain. On top of it, Kontrol Edge stands up a new SRv6 underlay — just a pair of SRv6-capable routers at each point of presence where you want to launch services. From that SRv6 layer you run the new network and deliver differentiated enterprise connectivity to your customers — all under your own brand.

Kontrol Edge architecture The operator provides only its optical base — fiber and EPL transport it already maintains. On top of it runs a standard, operator-owned SRv6 underlay with two SRv6-capable routers per PoP. From those PoPs the operator reaches end customers (no SRv6 or agents), the internet backbone, NaaS fabrics and cloud on-ramps, and third-party interconnect. The CTX Kontrol Edge platform — including its AI agents — runs on AWS and integrates with the network through telemetry and playbook automation over Direct Connect. An SRv6 Network You Stand Up
Kontrol Edge stands up a real SRv6 underlay over the optical base you already run — the fiber and EPL transport you maintain today. It comes down to a pair of SRv6-capable routers at each PoP: a live forwarding layer on top of your own optics. No core changes, no forklift — rolled out incrementally, PoP by PoP.
🧩
Standard Hardware, Your Choice
The PoP routers are standard SRv6 hardware — never a proprietary appliance you’re locked into buying. The architecture is vendor-neutral by design: Cisco is supported today, with Juniper and Nokia on the roadmap for 2027.
🔓
Open Standard, No Lock-In
The data plane is standard IETF SRv6 — not a proprietary forwarding scheme. You stand on a standard you can own and operate yourself, not a black box.
🔎
Native, End-to-End Visibility
Because the underlay runs on SRv6, you get per-flow and per-segment telemetry straight from the data plane itself — deep visibility across your real transport, end to end, not bolted on afterward.
👥
Nothing Changes for End Customers
No SRv6 and no agents required on the customer side. The intelligence lives in your PoP layer — your customers simply receive a better service.
💎
Commodity Transport, Differentiated Service
Abstract a brand-new enterprise network — with new, monetizable services — over a core you already paid for. Commodity transport becomes differentiated, deeply observable service.
The Differentiator

Visibility Comes From the Data Plane Itself

Because the network runs on SRv6, Kontrol Edge reads per-flow and per-segment telemetry straight from the forwarding plane — not sampled probes bolted on after the fact. You see your real transport end to end, across every PoP, the moment traffic moves. It’s the same data powering the live Stage 1 dashboard below.

The Challenge

Operators Need More Than Connectivity

Traditional operators sell bandwidth. Modern operators deliver outcomes. The gap between connectivity provider and managed network service requires a platform — not more headcount.

🔍
Zero Visibility
Operators manage thousands of endpoints but can’t see what’s happening across customer networks in real time.
🛠
Manual Operations
Every change, every troubleshooting session, every compliance check requires manual intervention from specialized engineers.
💸
Margin Pressure
Connectivity is commoditized. Without managed services, operators compete on price alone — a race to the bottom.
🧩
No NaaS Platform
Building a NaaS platform from scratch requires years of development. Operators need a shortcut to managed services revenue.
Why Kontrol Edge

A Third Path to Enterprise Services

Differentiating usually means ripping out your core or buying into someone else’s closed fabric. Kontrol Edge takes neither path — it stands up a standards-based SRv6 underlay on the optical base you already run.

Telecom District

Telecom District — a connectivity provider in Mexico — used Kontrol Edge to stand up its own SRv6 service network over optical transport it leases, on standard Cisco IOS-XR routers, without building a core of its own. With a small SRv6 footprint at each PoP and full real-time control of its physical and logical resources, TD launched differentiated enterprise connectivity services under its own brand — becoming the only operator in its market delivering this class of managed network, and winning enterprise accounts that were previously out of reach.
